CITEX is providing Special Inspection Services for the Duke Energy Cayuga Energy Complex, a $3.3 billion power generation project that will replace the existing coal-fired generating station with two state-of-the-art combined-cycle natural gas units. Once complete, the facility will generate approximately 1,476 megawatts (MW) of electricity, providing reliable energy to more than 1.1 million homes throughout Indiana.
Working under contract with Kiewit, one of North America's leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors, CITEX supplies highly qualified inspection personnel to support construction quality, special inspections, quality assurance (QA), and quality control (QC) throughout critical phases of construction. Our team helps verify that structural, concrete, welding, and protective coating systems comply with project specifications, applicable building codes, and industry standards, ensuring long-term performance and reliability for this critical energy infrastructure project.
